Went for a walk. Have to admit that I attached two simple errands to it, fetching things form tailors. Just walked the area and back, and tried not to think of the purpose but be in the moment.

The sheer joy of starting to walk with no purpose, even on a trail to complete an errand was so striking that I would say and loosen the „nothing else“ policy a bit, maybe. It still is not totally free to turn left or right at will, but on the other hand returning home within an hour (or two) is also a „goal“ and does influences the path.

That I simply rejoice in getting my umbrella and straightening my back and walk, getting a broad sensory feeling of NOW in the world. That turning around may be a good thing, if you are getting back to pat a dogs head or to get into a conversation with a piano mechanic.

Very good. Tremendous. So much what I needed. A bit of bad conscience that I did not make it happen longer and that I squeezed in things to fetch and pay for as well…

BEFORE: Dull. Numb. Not really feeling myself.
WHILE: Brightening up. The clicking of the metal tip of the umbrella on the pavement. The sun and the light around. Smelling the spicy air of a Hindu temple in a basement, glancing in for the first time in years, hearing a man saying prayers, women scattered sitting on the floor-carpets, feet facing the door. First walked by and then returned a Piano Shop, a black dog in the entrance was sniffing at me, in getting back he was unsure and growled, but the owner came out and started talking with me. Very interesting conversation about quality and how Yamaha is crap and hard sounding because they cut the sews into the alumnium and after 2 times loosening and thightening again, they do not work anymore. Bösendorfer is better and a lot more warm.
AFTER: Great. Really great. Went on with my day, not very structured, but in good mood.

Sitting on a sofa at Lederleitner`s wonderful Gardener`s shop (no advertising, but I like it there…being a kind of architectural pirate ;-), watching the little fountain between the tastefully arranged plants and listening to the soothing sound of the water.. I tried to expand into the natural intermission between different activities, lasting for about 5 min. and found this easier to manage…

How many things have I to handle and how many thoughts have I to process until at last I accept the Nothingness, find space for and surrender myself to DN? Interesting!

Feels like I am slowly shifting from resistance to cooperation with myself… I begin to check the tension and exhaustion of the endless, restless doing doing doing, whether physically or mentally or both…

It seems I am not “in me” here. I am a stranger in my own body / land… By practicing the DN / doing nothing it feels like my soul comes home to my body..
